About Us

Data Environments, Inc. is a commissioning agent for data center infrastructure. We specialize in complete Level 4 and Level 5 commissioning of new and existing facilities, including electrical and mechanical critical infrastructure systems; fire systems (pre-action, VESDA, and gas suppression); military-grade security; leak detection; and building monitoring systems, in accelerated schedules to meet turn over time frames.

We offer over 30 years of experience in the design and commissioning of critical infrastructure upgrades in data centers; semiconductor manufacturing clean rooms; labs and scientific facilities; and schools and universities.

Data Center insideWe support the industry accepted 5 step commissioning process for data centers, using NETA testing standards. We provide quality assurance and quality control support; pre-startup site inspections; startup coordination; breaker testing witness and breaker setting per the coordination study; verifications of torque, cable testing, and installation per client standards; and support for startup and commissioning of equipment during Levels 3, 4 and 5 of the commissioning process.

Data Environments, Inc. works together with owners and agencies to explore a variety of data center solutions, including design management and project management for high density data centers; multi-provider network installations; and startup, commissioning and testing of data center and network systems. We provide resources to support specific evaluations, and we provide solutions to meet the industry’s best known methods.

Data Environments engages the construction, operations, and maintenance teams in various phases of commissioning. In the design phase, we work with staff members to establish the owner’s or agency’s project requirements. In the project management phase, we coordinate with facility teams to conduct installation reviews in accordance with specifications and needs. During turn over, we engage the teams in specific testing and training for ongoing maintenance.
